Water Quality Management Program - Press Release, 2003 - April 2

The Martha’s Vineyard Commission has been notified by the Executive Office Environmental Affairs (D.E.P - Bureau of Resource Protection) that it is one only four agencies, out of twenty that applied, to be awarded funding this year under the 604b Water Quality Management Planning Program. The $35,124 grant is for the collection, processing and laboratory analyses of some 140 samples from Squibnocket, Menemsha, Chilmark, Tashmoo, Farm, Sengekontacket, Cape Pogue and Poucha Ponds and Oak Bluffs Harbor.
