Housing Production Plans
Since the last part of the 20th century, the cost of housing on Martha's Vineyard has soared to such levels that many year-round residents and seasonal workers are unable to find an adequate place to live, and many businesses have increasing difficulty retaining the workforce they need. To maintain a healthy and economically diverse society we need to ensure that there is a full range of housing options for the year-round population by assisting people whose needs are not met by market-rate housing.
